Thomas Holcomb Czeczeli, 65, of Bellevue, passed away Tuesday, Dec. 4, 2012, in The Bellevue Hospital.
He was born July 15, 1947, in Clay County, W.Va., son of the late Basil J. and Pearl (Pringle) Czeczeli.
Thomas was a U.S. Navy veteran and was employed as a truck driver.
He was a member of Immaculate Conception Church, North Point Baptist Church, Sandusky and Bellevue Eagles Aerie 490. Tom enjoyed hunting, fishing, playing cards — especially poker — and euchre and riding motorcycles.
He is survived by his wife, Peggy, whom he married Dec. 31, 1974; daughters, Tonya (Mike) Barger, of Bellevue, Monica (William) Kennedy, of Virginia Beach. Va., and Melissa (Sam) Fisher, of Bellevue; grandchildren, Trevor, Mikayla, Dylan, Phoebe and Gabriel; brothers, Jerry Czeczeli, of Michigan, and Samuel Holcomb, of Bell, W.Va., sister, Sharon Kirby, of Indianapolis; a special aunt, Dora Ruff, of Montgomery, W.Va., and special niece and nephew, Mickey and Tina Green.
He was preceded in death by a son, Bryce Czeczel; his biological father, Samuel W. Holcomb; parents; brother; Theodore Holcomb; and a grandson, William T. Kennedy..
Friends will be received 3-8 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 8, and from noon Sunday, Dec. 9, until a funeral service at 2 p.m. at Foos and Foos Funeral Service, 151 Yorkshire Place, Bellevue. Burial will follow at Bellevue Catholic Cemetery.
