Amelia A. Keegan, 86, formerly of Vickery, recently of Sandusky, died on Sunday, Nov. 25, 2012, in the Erie County Care Facility.
Amelia was born in Erie County on July 16, 1926, to Pierre and Grace (Camp) Dauch.
She graduated from Townsend High School in 1944, and was a member of the Zion Lutheran Church, Sandusky. She enjoyed playing bridge and was a member of several clubs.
On April 5, 1945, she married Kenneth G. Keegan, he preceded her on Feb. 3, 1995.
Survivors include her seven children, Dianne Farrar, Sandusky, Duane (Abbie) Keegan, Castalia, Mary Ann (Kevin) Lindsley, Castalia, Mark Keegan, Sandusky, Dean (Diane) Keegan, Sandusky, Dan (Shelley) Keegan, Castalia and Jeff (Bernard) Keegan, Hayward, Calif.; 15 grandchildren; 22 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild; four brothers, Wayne (Helen) Dauch, Clyde, Robert (Marilyn) Dauch, Clyde, Paul (Mary Lou) Dauch, Clyde and Charles Dauch, Clyde.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Pierre Dauch and Grace Dauch Warner; and infant sister, Eloise.
Visitation will be 4-8 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 27, at the Auxter Funeral Home, 1105 Castalia St., Bellevue. The funeral will be 2 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 28, at Zion Lutheran Church, Sandusky with the Rev. John Mawhirter officiating. Burial will be in Parkhurst Cemetery.
