Pauline Guthrie, 86, of Port Clinton, passed away Tuesday, Nov. 20, 2012, at her residence, surrounded by her loving family.
Pauline was born Aug. 1, 1926, in Gray, Ky., daughter of Estle and Maud Myrtle Jeanette (Parrot) Smith. On Oct. 20, 1943, in Harlan County, Ky., she married Julius M. Guthrie and he preceded her in death on May 16, 1997.
Pauline was a homemaker. She was a member of Port Clinton Baptist Church where she served as a Sunday school teacher for many years. Pauline was a great Christian woman. She loved her family and enjoyed drawing and cooking. Pauline loved everyone she came into contact with and was loved by many. She will be greatly missed by her loving family and friends.
Survivors include daughters, Glenda Dusseau, of Monroe, Mich., Carolyn “Sue” Guthrie and Mary (Joe) Isbell, of Port Clinton, and Martha (Tom) Hammock, of Vickery; son, Charles “Edward” (Carol) Guthrie, of Port Clinton; grandchildren, Tammy (Tommy) Hammitte, Jeff (Kim) Dusseau, Paula (Cary) Mahr, Ronnie Hammock, Terry Hammock, Vicki (Scott) Dickman, Tony (Katherine) Hammock, Beth (Todd) Dryfuss, Jamie (Sarah Baer) Isbell, Heather Isbell and Catrina Guthrie; great-grandchildren, Breanna (Adam) Lewis, Megan, Ryleigh and Olivia Hammitte, Taylor, Cameron and Evan Mahr, Erica, Ashly and Kylie Dickman, Sammy, Gracie and Ben Dryfuss, Connor and Arabella Helle, Garrett Isbell, Brooke Hammock, Nathan, Noah and Hayden Dusseau; and many loving nieces and nepehews.
Pauline was preceded in death by her husband; infant daughter; parents; brothers and sisters.
Visitation will be 5-8 p.m. Friday, Nov. 23, at Gerner-Wolf-Walker Funeral Home & Crematory, Port Clinton, where fneral service will be at 11 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 24. Interment will be in Riverview Cemetery.
Memorial donations in memory of Pauline may be given to Stein Hospice.
