Catherine O. Duellman, 82, of Lakeside-Marblehead, passed away Tuesday, No. 13, 2012, in St. Vincent Mercy Medical Center, Toledo, surrounded by her loving family.
Catherine was born Nov. 18, 1929, in Bellevue, to William and Amelia (Siesel) Brown. On Nov. 11, 1953, in Michigan she married Anthony Duellman and he preceded her in death on June 11, 1999.
Catherine worked as a housemother for the Mansfield Hospital School of Nursing for 20 years until her retirement in 1995.
She was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church, Marblehead. Catherine was a member of the Antiquarians and enjoyed volunteering for many local non profits. She will be greatly missed by her loving family and friends.
Survivors include her sons, Robert (Kim) Duellman, Anthony (Julie) Duellman, Daniel (Linda) Duellman and John (Amy) Duellman; daughter, Marie (Charlie) Baumgardner; 13 grandchildren; sisters, Rosemary Schaus, Margaret (Dean) Brown and Clara Vincler; and brother, Bill Brown.
Catherine was preceded in death by her husband; parents; sisters, Delores Falkenberg, Gertrude Mercurio, Mildred Myers and Dorothy Billmeyer; and brother, Arthur Brown.
Visitation will be 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Friday, Nov. 16, at Gerner-Wolf-Walker Funeral Home & Crematory, Port Clinton. A Mass of Christian Burial will be at 12:30 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 17. The Rev. Dan Ring will officiate at St. Joseph Catholic Church, Marblehead. Interment will be in St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery.
