Jo Ann M. Boytim, 80, of Marblehead, died Friday, Nov. 9, 2012, in Magruder Hospital, Port Clinton.
She was born May 6, 1932, on Kelleys Island to John and Lois (Holbrook) Feyedelem.
She married Robert S. Boytim on Sept. 26, 1953, and he survives.
Mrs. Boytim worked for Erie Army Depot from 1953-56 and worked at Boytim’s Grocery until her retirement in 1987.
She was a member of St. Mary’s Byzantine Church, Marblehead, where she was active in the Ladies Aid. She was previously a member of the Altar Rosary Society at St. Joseph Catholic Church. She enjoyed cooking, baking and watching Wheel-of-Fortune, Food Channel and the Cleveland Indians, Cavs and Browns. She cherished her visits from her family and friends.
Surviving are her husband, Robert S.; son, Ned Boytim, of Marblehead; daughter, Bethanne (Richard) Krynock, of Marblehead; grandchildren, Emily and Jacob Krynock; brother, Steven (Lorie) Feyedelem, of Marblehead; sisters, Janet (Samuel) Rosiar, of Port Clinton, and Karen (Edward) Oglesbee, Linda Chapman and Mary Lynn (Richard) Mason, all of Marblehead, and Susan (James) Gillium, of South Carolina; sister-in-law, Sharon Feyedelem, of Sandusky.
She was preceded in death by her parents; sister, Lura (Royce) Boss; and brother, John Feyedelem.
Visitation will be 2-8 p.m. Monday, Nov. 12, at Neidecker, LeVeck & Crosser Funeral Home, Peninsula Chapel, Lakeside-Marblehead, where the Panachida will take place at 7:30 p.m. Additional visitation will be 9-9:30 a.m. Tuesday, Nov. 13 at the funeral home followed by the procession to church. Office of Christian Burial will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday at St. Mary’s Byzantine Church, Marblehead. The Rev. Joseph Radvansky will officiate. Burial will be in St. Mary Byzantine Cemetery.
