Eleanor “Ellie” J. (Miller) Rosenberg, 86, of Sandusky, passed away peacefully at her home on Wednesday evening, Nov. 7, 2012, surrounded by her family, after battling cancer for six months.
She was born April 21, 1926, in Sandusky, daughter of the late Ervin and Nellie (Bailey) Miller. She graduated from Sandusky High School. Ellie worked for several lawyers in the Sandusky area, retiring at the age of 82.
Ellie is survived by her son, Daniel (Sandi) Rosenberg, of Huron; daughters, Peggy (Eddie) Dunsil and Sue (Timothy) Maschari, of Sandusky; five grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren, with one on the way.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 57 years, Fred Rosenberg, in 2004; son, William, in 1982; parents; and brother, Eugene Miller.
At Ellie’s request, there will be no visitation and cremation will take place. A memorial service will be at 11 a.m. Monday, Nov. 12, at Toft Funeral Home & Crematory, 2001 Columbus Ave., Sandusky. Chaplain Jamie Stewart will officiate. Interment will follow in Meadow Green Memorial Park, Huron.
