Ruth B. England, 78, of Marblehead, died Tuesday, Nov. 6, 2012, at her residence.
She was born Feb. 15, 1934, in Marblehead, daughter of the late William and Clara (Christiansen) Robel. Mrs. England was a homemaker, and previously worked for Philco and England Boats and Cottages. She delivered the Sandusky Register and Port Clinton News Herald to peninsula residents since the late 1960s.
She was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church, Marblehead, and the Marblehead VFW Ladies Aux.
Surviving are her children, David (Chris), of Monroeville, T.J., of Port Clinton, Karen (Charles) Puzemis, of South Lyons, Mich., Scott (Kathie), of Marblehead, Mark, of Arizona, Michael, of Port Clinton, and Kathy Headrick, of Marblehead; ex-husband, James England, of Shaker Heights, Ohio; 14 grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and brother, Francis Robel, of Marblehead.
She was preceded in death by her sons, Brian and Barry England; brothers, Richard and William Robel; and sister, Betty Puffenberger.
Visitation will be from 10 a.m.-noon Saturday, Nov. 10, at Neidecker, LeVeck & Crosser Funeral Home, Peninsula Chapel, Lakeside-Marblehead. Graveside services will be at 12:30 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 10, at St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery, Marblehead. The Rev. Dan Ring will officiate.
