Wanda Schnell, 72, of Norwalk, died Wednesday, Oct. 31, 2012, in Fisher Titus Medical Center after a lengthy illness surrounded by her family.
She was born May 12, 1940, daughter of the late Frank Mullins and Alberta (Carroll) Mullins in Blue Moon, Ky. Wanda was a member of Eagles Aerie 711 Auxiliary. Wanda was a former employee of Maple City Rubber and Rotary Printing.
Wanda enjoyed gardening, sewing, Bingo, taking gambling trips, and spending time with her nine grandchildren Michael Ezell, Elizabeth Howe, Amber Brooks (Gary), Sarah Howe, Brian Conrad, Caleb and Claire Clemons, Mikey and Shelby Leigh, Nicholas, Hanna and Ellie Henson; and three great- grandchildren, Casen Howe, Quentin Brooks and Nolan Ezell. She will be missed by her close family and friends.
Wanda is survived by her husband of 42 years, Gary F. Schnell I, of Norwalk; and by her children, Diana L. and Lenny Nickles, of Norwalk, Gary Schnell II, of Norwalk, James M. Leigh, of Norwalk, Andrea and Bryce Henson, of North Liberty, Iowa, Pamela and Scott Clemons, of Big Flats, N.Y., and Kristi and Randy Witter, of Norwalk. She is also survived by her brothers and sisters-in-law, Ronald and Liz Mullins of Frenchburg, Ky., Ralph and Barb Mullins, of Norwalk, Dale and Sondra Mullins, of Sandusky, and Dean Carroll, of Little Mud, Ky.; and sister, Vonda Waddle, of Cincinnati.
Wanda was predeceased by her parents, Frank, 1998, and Alberta, 1997; stepmother, Gladys Mullins, 2001; brother, Ray, in May, 2012, and a great-grandson, Mikey Ezell, 2008.
Friends may call from 3 p.m. Friday, Nov. 2, until services at 5 p.m. at Walker Funeral Home, 98 W. Main St., Norwalk. The Rev. Dan Kenyon, of Calvary Baptist Church, will officiate.
