Virginia L. Frische, 90, of Castalia, died Wednesday morning, Oct. 31, 2012, in Stein Hospice Care Center, Sandusky.
She was born May 6, 1922, in Wakefield, Ohio, and graduated from Ironton High School in 1940. Virginia was a 28-year employee of New Departure Plant, Sandusky.
She was member of the Clyde Baptist Church, Clyde, and played in golf leagues at Thunderbird Hills and Mills Creek.
She is survived by her sister, Dorothy Bishoff, of Lakeside; two brothers, Richard (Marilyn) King, of Cincinnati, and Curtis (Tim) King, of Texas; and several nieces and nephews.
Virginia was preceded in death by her husband, Edward “Jim” Frische in 1990; parents, Orland and Lillie (Vulgamore) King; sister, Doris Struther; and four brothers, Walter “Glen” King, Eugene King, James King, and Orland King, in infancy.
Friends may call from noon Saturday, Nov. 3, until services at 1 p.m. at Ransom Funeral Home, 610 S. Washington St., Castalia. The Rev. James Belcher will officiate. Burial will be at 11 a.m. Monday, Nov. 5, in Woodland Cemetery, Ironton, Ohio.
