William M. Walker Sr., 62, residing in Sandusky, passed away Saturday, Oct. 27, 2012, in Stein Hospice Care Center.
Bill was born April 23, 1950, in Columbus, son of the late Clifford Walker and Betty (Ireland) Robinson.
Bill was the owner of Walker’s General Contractor for 20 years. He also owned B&B Auto Sales and North Coast Motor Cars for several years, and was employed at World Auto Parts.
He was a member of the Sandusky American Legion Post 83, Sandusky Eagles, the Remembering Cruisin’ Car Club and Car Coddlers. In his spare time, Bill enjoyed spending time with his family.
Bill is survived by his wife, Juanita; his son, William (Shannon) Walker Jr., of Westlake, Ohio; two grandchildren, Benjamin and Matthew Walker; three sisters, Patti (Don) Carter, Judy (Jay) Hill, and Susie Orme; two brothers, Jack (Carol) Walker and Clifford (Karen) Walker Jr.; mother-in-law, Georgia Drenning; numerous nieces, nephews, and other relatives.
Friends may call from 1p.m. Saturday, Nov. 3, until a memorial service at 3 p.m. at Groff Funeral Homes & Crematory, 1607 E. Perkins Ave., Sandusky. Pastor Darrell Gant of Eagle’s Nest Church will officiate.
