Anna Lou Brumfield, 76, of Sandusky, died Tuesday, Oct. 30, 2012, in Wooster Community Hospital following a lengthy illness.
Anna was born Feb. 21, 1936, in Gypsum, to George Stanley and Nellie Pearl (Beaver) Swain. She married Myron Dale Brumfield who preceded her in death on Dec. 13, 1982.
She worked at Fannie Farmer’s in Norwalk and at the Lutheran Memorial Home. She was a member of Eagles in Norwalk.
Surviving are her children, Barbara Sue (Alfred) Moore, of Creston, Ohio, Joseph Earl (Donna) Brumfield, of Sandusky, and Myron Dale Brumfield II, of Lesage, W.Va.; seven grandchildren, Christina Muller, Samuel Moore, Ian Brumfield, Tanner Petrick, Katie Brumfield, Myron Brumfield and Cheyenne Brumfield; five great-grandchildren; and a brother, Roy Swain, of Oklahoma.
She was preceded in death by her husband; brothers, Larry, Junior and Bill Swain; and sister, Maggie Oldaker.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Friday, Nov. 2, at Crown City Community Church in Crown City, Ohio, with burial following at Crown City Cemetery. Murray Funeral Home in Creston is handling arrangements.
