Darlene (Haynes) Hall, age 90, of Sandusky, and formerly Norwalk, passed away Sunday, Oct. 28, 2012, in Parkvue Nursing Home.
She was born Oct. 16, 1922, in Coal Grove, Ohio, to Charles and Mayme (Steed) Haynes.
Darlene enjoyed spending time with her family. She had many friends at Parkvue and enjoyed making them laugh. Most of all she enjoyed going to church and serving the Lord.
She is survived by her daughter, Shirley Ann (Melvin) Comer of Norwalk; son, William (Lisa) Hall of South Carolina; grandchildren, Jeffrey (Angela) Comer of Mississippi, Deborah (James) Bunting of Milan, Barb Hall of Norwalk, Katie Hall of Florida and Linda Hall of South Carolina; great-grandchildren, Whitney Bunting of Milan, Allison Obray of Arizona, and Robyn Comer of Mississippi.
She was preceded in death by her husband, William J. Hall; brothers, Frank, Charles and Merrill; sisters, Avenell and Judy; and a great-great-granddaughter, Jaidyn M. Obray.
A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday, Oct. 30, at the Church of the Nazarene, Sandusky, where a luncheon will follow. The Rev. David Flack, pastor of the church, will officiate. Private burial will be held at Woodlawn Cemetery in Norwalk.
