Many will remember Mike from his many years bartending at The Brown Derby and Roman Villa. He had since retired to his home, decorating it beautifully for each holiday. He loved visiting with family and friends. He spent time volunteering at Care and Share and visiting with the residents of Portland House and the Senior Center of Sandusky. He enjoyed classic movies, music, crafts and going out to eat.

He is survived by his friend and partner of more than 30 years, Freda Beese, and her daughter, Heather (Tim) Hoy, of Sandusky; children, Michael (Twila) Fantozzi, of Sandusky, Sissy (Chris) Morey, of Norwalk, Cassie (David) Belinge, of Sandusky, and Christopher (Kelly) Kelble, of Castalia, and their mother, Grace Fantozzi, of Milan; siblings, Valerie (John) Zura, of Sandusky, Gloria (David) Buathier, of Sandusky, Joe Fantozzi, of Texas, and Nick (Leslie) Fantozzi, of Huron; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren; nieces and nephews; extended family and friends; and his fuzzy buddies.

He was preceded in death by his maternal and paternal grandparents; parents, Joseph (1969) and Frances Fantozzi (2002); his sister, Mary Jane Brushaber (1992); and other extended family members.

Cremation, at his request, has taken place. A service will be at 11 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 27, at Venice Road Baptist Church, 3814 Venice Road, Sandusky.
