Anthony W. “Tony” Budd, 49, of Huron, passed away late Saturday morning, Oct. 20, 2012, at Firelands Regional Medical Center, Sandusky, after a brief illness.
He was born on Dec. 19, 1962, in New London, the son of William Franklin and Ardis Lathiel (Clemmons) Budd. He was a graduate of Huron High School.
Tony was the general manager at the Roadhouse where he worked for 30 years. He was a lot of fun and loved spending time with his family and his many friends. Tony especially enjoyed his special “Wicked Wednesday” night out with his buddy Kenny. He was an avid gun shooter and was a past member of the Huron Eagles.
He is survived by his wife, Michele A. (Stanley) Budd of Norwalk; two step daughters, Chandler Stanley and Mackenzie Allgauer; mother, Ardis (Budd) Bikulcius; step father, Ed Bikulcius of Sandusky; father, William Budd of Jackson, Mich.; sister, Sarita “Sam” (Tom) Reau of Bellevue; brother, Christopher “Chris” Budd of Sandusky; sister-in-law, Drema Budd; nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews; his best friend, Kenny Burmeister of Huron; aunts, uncles and other relatives.
Tony was preceded in death by a son, Timothy; brother, Timothy A. Budd; grandparents; companion, Renee Bates.
Visitation will be held 2-8 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 24, at David F. Koch Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 520 Columbus Ave., Sandusky. Prayers will be recited at 12:40 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 25, at the funeral home, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 1 p.m. at Sts. Peter and Paul Catholic Church, 510 Columbus Ave., Sandusky. Rev. Joe Steinbauer officiating. Burial will be in Fitchville Cemetery, Fitchville, Ohio.
