Marilyn H. (Frey) McCoy-Seely, 82, residing in Norwalk, died early Sunday morning, Oct. 21, 2012, in Stein Hospice Care Center, following a lengthy illness.
She was born on Nov. 26, 1929, in Detroit, to Edward and Clara (Fuelling) Frey.
Marilyn enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren, and was proud of her children and her entire family. She also enjoyed wintering in Florida with her husband Harold.
Marilyn is survived by four daughters, Nancy (Tony) Dellisanti of Norwalk, Robin (David) Appell of Sandusky, Laurie (Russell) Logan of Milan, and Molly (Tom) Jesberger of Milan; three sons, Kevin (Pat) McCoy of Huron, Daniel (Mary) McCoy of Milan, and Timothy (Sarah) McCoy of Milan; one step-daughter, Jenny (Mike) Simoni of Royal Oak, Mich.; 20 grandchildren, Jennifer, Amanda, Katie, Emily, Molly, Megan, Benjamin, Drew, Kelly, Cory, Abbey, Jake, Kevin, Luke, Ali, Mackenzie, Cody, Ty, Paula and Beth; 13 great-grandchildren; and several nieces, nephews and other relatives.
Marilyn was preceded in death by her first husband, William Norris McCoy in 1983; her second husband, Harold Seely in 2001; her parents; one brother, Edward Frey; two sisters, Laura Forsythe and Ethel Lewis; and one stepson, Ron Seely.
Friends may call 2-4 p.m. and 6-8 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 24, at Groff Funeral Home and Crematory, 1 S. Main St., Milan. Private family funeral services and burial will take place on Thursday morning, Oct. 25.
