Dawn M. Gaspar, 42, of Castalia, passed away Thursday evening, Oct. 18, 2012, at her residence, surrounded by her family and friends.
She was born Sept. 18, 1970, in Sandusky, and was baptized at Congregational UCC Castalia. She graduated from Margaretta High School in 1988 and was attending Ohio Business College. Dawn loved to do crafts, and spend time with her family and friends.
She is survived by her daughter, Faith Gaspar, of Castalia; son, Christopher French, of Summerville, S.C.; fiancé, Tom Johnson, of Castalia; mother, Kristine (Jensen) Snyder, of Castalia; father, Darrell Snyder, of LaCrosse, Kan.; two sisters, Rebecca (Kevin) Gordon, of Hutchinson, Kan., and Jennifer (Chris) Gross, Castle Rock, Colo.; and brother, Brian (Trish) Snyder, of Winona, Kan.
Dawn was preceded in death by her maternal grandparents, Jesse and Hilda (Mayo) Jensen; and paternal grandparents, Forrest and Mildred (Schooler) Snyder.
Friends may call from 4-9 p.m. Monday, Oct. 22, at Ransom Funeral Home, 610 S. Washington St., Castalia, where services will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday, Oct. 23.
