Christine (Arnoldi) Kirk, 61, of Westerville, Ohio, passed away peacefully at home with her family at her side on Saturday, Oct. 19, 2012.
Chris was born May 9, 1951, in Sandusky. She attended Sandusky St. Mary Central Catholic High School and graduated from The Ohio State University with a bachelor’s and master’s degree in social work. Chris worked at Franklin County Children’s Services, Children’s Hospital and for the past 20 years at the National Youth Advocate Program where she is the assistant director of care management.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Robert and Elizabeth Fitz Arnoldi.
Chris is survived by her loving husband of 38 years, Michael “Mick”; daughters, Jennifer (Kyle) Guilliams and Andrea (Conor) Kinsella; grandchildren, Brynn and Aubree Guilliams; and sisters, Peg (Phil) Weis, Mary Jo Arnoldi (Craig Subler) and Joanne (Chuck) Egasti; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Chris was a member of St. Paul's Catholic Church and was a long time member of York Golf Club.
Mass of Christian Burial will be at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, Oct. 24, at St. Paul Catholic Church, 313 N. State St., Westerville. The Rev. David Gwinner, celebrant. Arrangements handled by Hill Funeral Home, Westerville.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Chris’ memory to the National Youth Advocate Program, 1801 Watermark Drive, Suite 200, Columbus, OH 43215. Donations will be used for “Christmas for the Kids.”
