Marjorie J. (Andres) White, 87, of Sandusky passed away unexpectedly late Wednesday morning, March 11, 2009, in Firelands Regional Medical Center, Main Campus, Sandusky.
She was born Sept. 2, 1921, in Sandusky to Louis Richard and Genevieve (Erney) Andres. She was a 1939 graduate of St. Mary's High School and worked at Holzapfel's and Western Security Bank. She was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church, Altar ROC Society, 60 years in pinochle and bridge clubs, and as a volunteer at the voting precinct for 25 years.
Marjorie is survived by two sons, Michael G. (Thelma) White of Sandusky and Robert A. (Mary) White of Gahanna, Ohio; two daughters, Connie (Fred) Rockwell of Milan, and Terrie (William) Ehrnsberger III of Port Clinton; nine grandchildren, Jeff, Brian, Margaret, Maureen, Elizabeth, Monica, Robert, Scott and Ryan; eight great-grandchildren, Jeremy, Jason, Joey, Dylan, Paige, Ethan, Sydney and Wyatt; and nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, George M. White; parents; two sisters, Mary Louise Hohler and Eileen Drusbacky; and brother, Richard C. "Dick" Andres in 1991.
Visitation will be 4-8 p.m. Friday in David F. Koch Funeral Home, 520 Columbus Ave., Sandusky, where prayers will be said at 9:30 a.m. Saturday. A Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 10 a.m. in St. Mary's Catholic Church, 429 Central Ave., Sandusky; the Revs. Philip Feltman and Kenneth J. Lill will be co-celebrants. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery, Sandusky.
