Zolton Elek Naki, 78, of Huron, passed away Tuesday, Oct., 9, 2012, at his home.
Zolton was born in Detroit (Delray), Mich., to Frank and Margaret Naki. He graduated from Southwestern High School, served four years in the U.S. Coast Guard and graduated from the Ford Motor Company (Dearborn, Mich.) electrical apprenticeship. Zolton retired after working 35 years as an electrician and a maintenance foreman.
Zolton is survived by his wife, Judith, of Huron, (Flatrock, Mich.); his children, Elizabeth (Jerry) Cyr and Gregory (Lisa) Naki; seven grandchildren and two great-grandchildren; and a niece and nephew.
He was preceded in death by his son, Zolton E. Naki Jr.; his parents, Frank and Margaret; his brother, Frank (Margaret); and his sister, Mary (Edward Pietras).
A memorial mass will be at 11 a.m. Monday, Oct. 15, at St. Peter’s Church, 430 Main St., Huron. The Rev. Jeffery Sikorski will officiate. Visitation will be from 10 a.m. until the mass.
