Wayne T. Raboin, age 75, of Collins, died on Oct. 1, 2012, in his home following a lengthy illness.
He was born on Feb. 17, 1937, in Winona, Minn., and lived in this area for 49 years. He worked at the Lorain Ford Plant for 30 years, retiring in 1988. He loved hunting, fishing, woodworking and cutting wood.
He is survived by his wife of 48 years, Jean (Bowens); children, Wayne A. (Katie) Raboin of Big Stone Gap, Va., Randy Raboin of Huron, Cheryl Raboin of Columbus, Lori (Marc) Zaremba of Inkster, Mich., Dana Raboin of Powell, Ohio, and Jodi Raboin of Berlin Heights; brother Dale Jaszewski of Minnesota; sisters, Donna Wolfgang of North Olmsted, Ohio, Cindy Fuller of St. Charles, Minn., Lurae Buck, of Minnesota; seven grandchildren; one great-grandchild; numerous nieces and nephews; his special friends Jim and Myrna; and his cat Mitzi.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Charles T. Raboin and Bernice (Beeman) Jaszewski; sisters, Phyllis Bion, Renee Stirneman; and daughter-in-law, Dena Raboin.
Friends may call at 10 a.m. until the time of a memorial service at noon, Friday, Oct. 5, at Morman-Hinman-Tanner Funeral Home, 38 South St., Berlin Heights.
