Janice I. Dearth, 83, of Clyde, died Tuesday, Sept. 25, 2012, at her home.
Mrs. Dearth was born Feb. 24, 1929, in Fremont, to the now deceased Vernon and Hilda (Rettig) Brink. She graduated from Ross High and had worked for a short time at Taylor Made Industries.
She was an avid reader, liked working in her flowers and baked cookies for the grandchildren constantly.
On Feb. 14, 1947, she married Sanford Dearth and he preceded her in death March 21, 2003.
Surviving are three sons, Michael (Dyana) Dearth and Timothy (Rene’) Dearth, of Clyde, and Tom (Cathy) Dearth, of Bellevue; 11 grandchildren; and 13 great-grandchildren.
Janice was preceded in death by her daughter, Betty Jo Runion; and her twin brother, Jim Brink; brother, John Brink; and sister, Genevieve Wagner.
Visitation will be from 11 a.m. Friday, Sept. 28, until services at 1 p.m. at Mitchell-Auxter Funeral Home, 218 S. Main St., Clyde. Burial will be in McPherson Cemetery.
