Alice Dagg, 94, formerly of Clyde, more recently of Sandusky, died in Stein Hospice Care Center on Thursday, Sept. 20, 2012.
She was born May 10, 1918, in Clyde to Ralph and Irma (Gray) Hummel. She graduated from Clyde High School in 1936 and worked in her early life at the former Bendix and Hyman.
She was a member of St. Paul Lutheran Church, Sandusky.
On Feb. 6, 1938, she married Neil H. “Hap” Dagg, who preceded her in death June 22, 2005.
Alice is survived by their two children, Barbara Kanthak of Tucker, Ga., and Thomas (Nancy) Dagg of Clyde; three grand-daughters, Kelly White, Tucker; Christine (Douglas) Burns, Marion, Ohio, and Carol (Robert) Kohs, Columbus; four great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband; and three sisters, Jane Wood, Helene Raifsnider and Elizabeth Sieger.
Visitation will be 5-8 p.m. Monday, Sept. 24, at Mitchell-Auxter Funeral Home, 218 S. Main St., Clyde. The funeral will be 2 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 25, at St. Paul Lutheran Church, Forest St., Clyde, with the Rev. Alan Swartz from St. Paul Lutheran Church, Sandusky, officiating. Burial will be in Greenlawn Memory Gardens.
