Ulester Wilken Jr., 45, of Sandusky, died unexpectedly on Tuesday, Sept. 18, 2012, in Firelands Regional Medical Center.
He was born Nov. 13, 1966, in Sandusky, son of the late Ulester and Nettie (Anderson) Wilken Sr., and attended Sandusky High School. He was employed by Olive Garden.
Ulester was a fun vibrant person, enjoyed cooking, shopping and interior decorating. He was known for his giving ways and his sense of humor.
He is survived by his son, Nathan (Mellisa) Dehaven, of Sandusky; brother, Kennedy Wilken, of Sandusky; sister, Mary Ann Wilken, of Atlanta; three grandchildren; special friend, Gary Weaver; friends of the family, Gene Dehaven and Ruby Wraggs; and several nieces and nephews, other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents and grandparents.
Friends may call 6-8 p.m. Monday, Sept. 24, at Toft Funeral Home & Crematory, 2001 Columbus Ave., Sandusky.
