Thomas L. Capucini, 61, of Sandusky, died on Thursday, Sept. 20, 2012, in Firelands Regional Medical Center.
He was born March 15, 1951, in Sandusky, son of the late Otto and Mildred (Lombardi) Capucini. Tom was a graduate of Sandusky High School. He was an employee of Whirlpool for 25 years and also worked for Routh Packing Company.
He was a drummer for the band Aftermath, and was learning to play the guitar. Tom loved the Cleveland Indians and Cleveland Browns.
He is survived by his wife of 42 years, Becky (Shellhorn) Capucini; children, Amber (Rick) Ramos, of Port Clinton, John (Amanda) Costello, of Republic, and Tracy Chong, of Clyde; grandchildren, Dakota, Lacy, Grady, Dahlia, Elisa and Lilly; granddog, LE May; sister-in-law, Rose Marie Capucini; special friends, Bob and Julie Castello, of Sandusky; and several nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Denny Capucini; and sister, Geraldine (Gerry) Brown.
There will be no visitation. Services will be private for his family.
