Victoria A. (Kosel) Swabley, 57, of Norwalk, died Wednesday evening, Sept. 12, 2012, in her home from brain cancer.
She was born Jan. 8, 1955, in San Angelo, Texas, to Alden (Buz) and Ann (Escue) Kosel. She was a member of St. Paul Catholic Church. She was a graduate of Norwalk High School and Ehove Career Center. She worked as a legal secretary and at Norwalk Furniture.
Vickie enjoyed playing and officiating volleyball, sailing, motor homing, and gardening.
She is survived by her parents; husband, Mark Swabley of Norwalk; children, Troy and Laura Pittenger of Norwalk, and Jennifer and Jay Wenger of Lima, Ohio; grandchildren, Jack Pittenger of Norwalk, and Taylor Judy, Parker Judy and Lyla Wenger of Lima; sister, Kathi Schlotterer of Norwalk; and several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held 6-7 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 22, at Walker Funeral Home, 98 W. Main St., Norwalk, where prayer services will be held at 7 p.m. A Memorial Mass will be held at 5 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 23, in St. Paul Catholic Church, 91 E. Main St., Norwalk.
