Willard W. Dahm, age 95, of Sandusky, passed away early Monday morning, Sept. 17, 2012, in Parkvue Healthcare Center.
Willard was born July 5, 1917, in Sandusky, to William and Fannie (Brownell) Dahm.
He was employed at the former Farrell-Cheek Steel Company for 50 years as a pattern maker and a foreman. He enjoyed woodworking, gardening, and spending time with his family.
Willard is survived by a son, Dennis (Sharon) Dahm of Sandusky; daughter-in-law, Rita Dahm; four grandchildren, Cheryl (Kevin) Leech, Mathew (Cynthia) Dahm, Mary (Michael) Derflinger, Daniel (Caryn) Dahm; eight great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; and one brother, James (Sue) Dahm.
Including his parents, Willard was preceded in death by his wife Lucille (Ziemke) Dahm; one son Wesley Alan Dahm; one brother Ellsworth Dahm; and two sisters, Betty (Carl) Schmidt, and Marge (Ed) Schultz.
Friends will be received at 9:30 a.m. Thursday, Sept. 20, until the time of funeral service at 11:30 a.m., at Groff Funeral Home and Crematory, 1607 E. Perkins Ave., Sandusky. Brother Mathew Dahm of the Marion, Ohio, Richland Road Church of Christ, will be officiating. Burial will follow in Oakland Cemetery.
