Dean E. Radcliff, 90, of Sandusky, died Thursday, Dec. 25, 2008, in Stein Hospice Care Center, Sandusky, following a brief illness.
He was born April 18, 1918, in Caldwell, Ohio, son of the late Mable (Farson) and Atle Radcliff.
Dean was a U.S. Navy veteran having served during World War II. On Feb. 8, 1940, in Covington, Ky., he married Irene Klatt, and she preceded him in death, Aug. 11, 2007.
He was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church, Sandusky, and was a service manager for Cedar Point Marina and Browns Marina. He retired from Glidden Paint in Huron.
Survivors include his daughter, Sondra Lee Radcliff, Sandusky; sister, Ruth Miller, Lynchburg, Va.; brother-in-law, LeRoy Devanna, Sandusky; and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his wife; parents; and sister, Louise Radcliff.
Friends may call 5-7 p.m. Sunday in Groff Funeral Home,1607 E. Perkins Ave., Sandusky. Funeral services will be conducted at 11 a.m. Monday in the funeral home by Deacon Bill Burch. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery,Sandusky.
