Carl F. Williams, 74, of Norwalk and formerly Monroeville, passed away Wednesday, Nov. 26, 2008, in Fisher-Titus Medical Center,Norwalk.
He was born June 20, 1934, in Bellevue, the son of the late Paul and Marian (Thomson) Williams.
He married Miriam A. Brant, Aug. 10, 1960, in Norwalk; she preceded him in death in 1989.
Carl was employed at the former New Departure until his retirement in 1992. He served our country in the U.S. Army, and enjoyed constructing model airplanes, cars and ships, and also enjoyed gardening.
He is survived by three daughters, Jean Pittman of Monroeville, Julie (Wesley) Puckett of Norwalk and Evelyn Williams of Old Fort; sons, Paul E. Williams of Youngstown and Edward A. Williams of Huron; nine grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; brothers, Philip Minor of Bellevue, Donald Minor of Norwalk; and sister, Marjorie Matelski of Lorain.
In addition to his wife and parents, he was preceded in death by his sisters, Phyllis, Janet and Betty.
Friends will be received from noon, Monday, until funeral service at 1 p.m. in Foos and Foos Funeral Service, 151 Yorkshire Place, Bellevue. Burial will follow in Bellevue Cemetery.
