MABEL K. RANSOM CRONENBERGER

Mabel K. (Fischer) Ransom Cronenberger, 94, of Castalia, passed away Monday afternoon, Nov. 24, 2008, in Lutheran Memorial Home, which was her home for the past eight and one half years.
She was born Nov. 22, 1914, in Castalia. She was employed by Margaretta Schools for eight years in the maintenance department. She was a member of Castalia Congregational United Church of Christ and was a charter member of Phi Theta group within the Church.
Mrs. Cronenberger is survived by three daughters, Lillian (Henry) Neuscheler, Annette (Tom) Churchill and Luana Napka, all of Castalia; one son, Glen “Bud” (Bette) Ransom of Castalia; eight grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 30 years, Marshall Cronenberger; her parents, Michael and Agnes (Miller) Fischer; three brothers, Michael, Ted and Henry Fischer; five sisters, Elizabeth Fischer, Anna (Leroy) Beechler, Rosella Fischer, Bertha (Fred) Rennette and Mary (Frank) Good; and two grandsons, Bernie Napka III and Todd Raymond Morrow; and her former husband Glen Ransom.
Friends may call from noon Friday until services at 1 p.m. in Castalia Congregational United Church of Christ, 205 Main St., Castalia. Pastor John Paputza will officiate. Burial will follow in Castalia Cemetery.
