Luellynne “Lucy” K. Peters, 52, of Sandusky, died Thursday, Nov. 20, 2008, in Firelands Regional Medical Center.
She was born Jan. 3, 1956, in Castalia. She was employed by Holiday Inn for 20 years and Erie County Care Facility as a dietary aide. She attended The Chapel, sold Avon, and loved watching her grandchildren’s activities such as softball and football.
Lucy is survived by her husband, Charles Peters, to whom she was married 34 years; daughters, Amy Peters, Jeannie (Chris) Hodgkinson, Michelle Peters and Carla Peters, all of Sandusky; grandchildren, Brandon Keys, Bryana Peters, Kelsey Peters, Brittney Alexander, Kayla Hodgkinson, Branda Peters, Koree Hodgkinson, Chyanna Rowe, Brooke Peters and Tameron Otis; sister, Margaret (Sam) Harvey of Sandusky; brother, Richard Notestine of Sandusky; sister-in-law, Rhonda (David) Fultz of Whites Landing; brother-in-law, Dennis Peters of Huron; aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews; special friend, Sharon Cruz of Castalia; and other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Richard and Mary Ellen (Dawes) Notestine; sisters, Robin Williams and Pamela Notestine; brother, Michel Notestine; and great grandparents.
Friends may call 2-4 and 6-9 p.m. Tuesday and from 10 a.m. Wednesday until funeral services at 11 a.m. in The Chapel, 4444 Galloway Road, Sandusky, with the Rev. Dave Brown officiating. Burial will be in Meadow Green Memorial Park, Huron.
