Pastor Kevin Willard Morris, 30, of Plymouth, Ohio, went to be with his Lord and Saviour early Friday morning, Nov. 21, 2008, while waiting on a second hearttransplant and kidney transplant.

He was born Sept. 13, 1978, in Mansfield, Ohio. He preached the Gospel for 12 years, serving as pastor at Paradise Free Will Baptist Church for the past two years. Kevin was director of Kinder Care in Dublin, Ohio, at the Knowledge Learning Corp. He graduated fromPioneer Career and Technical Center where he received the Byron Carmean Award, an award granted to non-traditional students, and received his associate degree in Early Childhood Education at The Ohio State University. Kevin was an avid OSU Buckeye and Cleveland Browns fan, and liked to fish.

At the age of 11, he underwent a heart transplant, a very special gift allowing him to spend 19 more years with his family and friends. Kevin will be fondly remembered as a devoted husband, father, son, brother and pastor who loved the Lord and showed it in all he did.

He is survived by his loving wife, Jennifer (Fields) Morris, whom he married July 10, 1999; threechildren, Dylan, Madyson andKeiygan Morris; parents, Clyde and Charlotte Ann Morris of Ontario, Ohio; mother-in-law and father-in-law, Lonnie and Karen Fields of Castalia; paternal grandmother, Juanita Morris of Mansfield; maternal grand-father, Bill Rose of Mansfield; sister, Angie Carroll of Ontario; twobrothers-in-law, Joseph and Linda Fields and Matthew Fields, all of Castalia; five nieces, Katie, Sammi, Cassidy, Mariah and Delaney; and several aunts, uncles, cousins and many good friends.

He was preceded in death by his two children, lost throughmiscarriage; maternal grandmother, Angelena Rose; paternal grandfather, Bill Morris; great-grandmother, Gertrude Hess; great-grandfather and namesake, Willard Rose; and uncle, Garry Rose.

Friends may call 2-4 and6-9 p.m. Tuesday in Ontario Home of Wappner Funeral Directors with evening services at 8 p.m. by Evangelist Randy Nichols. Funeral services will be at10:30 a.m. Wednesday in Shelby First Free Will Baptist Church withEvangelist Chris Russell and PastorMatthew Pond officiating. Burial will follow in Greenlawn Cemetery,Plymouth.
