Anna M. Willis, 74, Sandusky, died early Thursday morning, Nov. 20, 2008, in Stein Hospice Care Center.
She was born in Sandusky, July 22, 1934. She was employed by Scott Paper Company for many years and worked for a janitorial service as head supervisor. She enjoyed spending time with her family.
Anna is survived by three sisters, Helen Platte, Norwalk, Harry (Alice) Smith, Sandusky, and Betty (Russell) Dickman, Sandusky; two sisters-in-law, Rose Maick, West Virginia, and Mary Whitney, Dayton; two brothers-in-law, Randall (Carol) Willis, South Amherst, and Colonel (Erma Lee) Willis, Monroeville; and many nieces, nephews and other relatives.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Edward Willis in 2004; parents, Peter and Pursis (Wiley) Smith; brothers, Donald Smith, Joe Smith and Roy Smith; and sisters, Nellie Weatherspoon, Ethel Starks, Mary Ferdinandsen and Kathryn Wilhelm.
Friends may call 4-8 p.m. Sunday in Groff Funeral Home, 1607 E. Perkins Ave., Sandusky. Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Monday in the funeral home; Pastor Wally Gilbert will officiate. Burial will follow in Meadow Green Memorial Park.
