Margaret Louise (Callahan) Kay, 77 Huron, died Wednesday, Nov. 5, 2008, at her residence.
She was born March 22, 1931, in Youngstown, Ohio. She graduated from Girard High School in 1949, and from Western Reserve Flora Stone Mather in 1953. She married Edward G. Kay, Nov. 7, 1953. They moved to Sandusky, and then to Huron in 1967.
She was a member of College Women’s Club, past president of Garden Club of Sandusky, past president of Providence Women’s Association, and past president of PEO Chapter 5 of Sandusky.
Her passions were flower arranging, gardening and gourmet cooking, all of which she and her husband enjoyed with friends at their annual Christmas party. One of her many accomplishments was designing and creating the Christmas decorations for the Follett House Museum in Sandusky.
She is survived by her husband, Edward G. Kay; daughter, Kathleen Kay of Huron; and son, Edward ‘Rick’ (Catherine) Kay of Ortonville, Mich.
A private funeral mass was observed and burial was in Meadow Green Memorial Park, Huron. Foster Funeral Home, Huron, handled arrangements.
