Judy C. Knupke, 51, of Nashua, N.H., and formerly Huron, died unexpectedly Friday, Oct. 31, 2008, at her residence.
She was born June 10, 1957, in Sandusky and was a graduate of Huron High School. Judy attended Denison University and graduated from Western Illinois University. She received her master’s degree from Andover Newton Theological School in 1991. After graduation, she worked as a prison minister in North Carolina for a few years. Judy was employed as a computer programmer for MITRE Corporation in Massachusetts.
She is survived by her parents, Wayne and Helen (Berkey) Knupke of Huron; sister, Eileen (Charles) Jenkins of Huron; brother, Owen (Rita) Knupke of Sandusky; special friend, Sam Cardman of Boxboro, Mass.; and nieces, nephews and other relatives.
She was preceded in death by her grandparents.
Funeral services for the family will be in Pfeil Funeral Home, Sandusky Chapel, 617 Columbus Ave.; the Rev. William Hlavin will officiate. Burial will be in Meadow Green Memorial Park, Huron.
