Erica Lavine Shine-Taylor, 38, of Sandusky, passed away unexpectedly, Monday, Oct. 13, 2008.
She was born February 26, 1970, in Lorain, Ohio, and was a lifelong resident of Sandusky. She graduated from Sandusky High School and Owens Community College.
She was a member of Agape Love Ministries in Sandusky, where she loved serving as choir director and singing on the Praise Team.
Erica was employed with Lear Corporation for seven years as an office computer technician; she was a member of UAW Local 13. She was a licensed beautician with a manager license.
She enjoyed singing, cooking, laughter and family. She was a loving and devoted mother, daughter and sister. She extended her love to approximately 70 others as an organ donor.
Erica leaves to cherish her memory her sons, Ronald Shine Jr. and Eric Shine, both of Sandusky; mother, Minister Rose A. Thompson and stepfather, Minister Walter Thompson, of Sandusky; brothers, Seth Charlton (Denise), Aaron Taylor III and Walter Thompson Jr., all of Sandusky, and Ronald Charlton of Michigan; sisters, Tonya Johnson and Shonda Johnson of Erie, Pa.; fiancé, John L. Daniels of Sandusky; and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
She was preceded in death by her father, Aaron Taylor Jr.; paternal grandparents, Aaron and Violet Taylor Sr.; and maternal grandparents, Charley and Geraldine Charlton.
Visitation will be from 11 a.m. Tuesday until funeral service at noon in Agape Love Ministries, 4013 Columbus Ave., Sandusky; Bishop Clifton T. Jones, pastor, will officiate. Burial will be in Oakland Cemetery in Sandusky. Arrangements entrusted to Brown-Robinson Funeral Home, Lorain.
