Thomas Rowe, 74, of Vickery, passed away early Tuesday morning, Aug. 21, 2012, in his residence.
Thomas was born in Sandusky, May 24, 1938, to William and Dorothy (Lowrie) Rowe.
He was an employee of the Ford Motor Company retiring after 35 years of service. He was a member of Faith Memorial Church. Thomas enjoyed hunting, fishing and most of all spending time with his family.
He is survived by his five daughters, Tomi Allen of Vickery, Darlene Utter of Plymouth, Ohio, Toni Kubas of Sandusky, Connie (Jim) Silcott of Sandusky, and Julie Rowe of S.C.; ten grandchildren; ten great-grandchildren; one great-great-granddaughter; and one brother, Robert Rowe of Sandusky.
Including his parents, Tom was preceded in death by his wife, Opal Rowe in 1997; his son, Frank Protzman in 2003; brother, David Rowe in 1981; and son-in-law, David Allen in 2004.
Friends may call 2-4 p.m. and 6-8 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 23, at the Groff Funeral Homes and Crematory, 1607 E. Perkins Ave., Sandusky. Friends may also call 9 a.m. until time of funeral services at 10 a.m. Friday, Aug. 24, at Faith Memorial Church, 1320 E. Strub Road, Sandusky. The Rev. Ken Hiser will be officiating. Burial will follow in Oakland Cemetery, Sandusky.
