Kenneth L. Greear, 78, of Port Clinton, passed away, Wednesday, Oct. 8, 2008, in the University of Toledo Medical Center, Toledo, Ohio.

He was born in Hammersville, Ohio, April 24, 1930, the son of Lee and Myrtle (Corder) Greear. On Dec. 29, 1950, in Clintwood, Va., he married Gloria G. Donahue; she preceded him in death Jan. 23, 2003. Kenneth worked as a printer for U. S. Gypsum Company for 40 years, retiring in 1992. He loved hunting and fishing; hunting was his true passion. Kenneth will be greatly missed by his loving family and friends. 

Survivors include his son, Larry W. (Julie Binkley) Greear of Leipsic, Ohio; four grandchildren, Brian, Jordan, Jani (Greg) Harmon and Jim (Mandy) Greear; great-granddaughters, Lexus and Zandra Greear; sister, Ann (Charles) Miller of Port Clinton; brothers, William (Ellie) Greear of Port Clinton, Jack Greear of Defiance, Ohio, and Clarence (Shelby) Greear of Church Hill, Tenn.

Kenneth was preceded in death by his wife; son, James Greear; and parents.

Visitation will be 2-4 and 6-8 p.m., Friday in Gerner-Wolf-Walker Funeral Home and Crematory, Port Clinton.  Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday in the funeral home, conducted by Deacon Ben Valdez.  Interment will be in Riverview Cemetery, Port Clinton.

Memorial donations may be made to the American Heart Association. Condolences may be shared at
