Bobby Orchard, 65, of Clyde, died Friday, Sept. 19, 2008, in The Bellevue Hospital.
Mr. Orchard was born Feb. 4, 1943, in Queens, N.Y., to the late Robert and Janetta (Downey) Orchard. He lived his adult life in Ohio.
Bob was employed by Chemitrol Company in Fremont prior to his 1999 retirement due to disability.
He served in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam era.
Survivors include his wife, Kristina (Isaacs) Orchard, whom he married Dec. 1, 1984; daughter, Dawn Marie (Jerry) Bailey of Berlin Heights; son, Joshua Vallier (Patricia Risner) of Fremont; foster daughter, Genevieve (Jimmy) Carter of Tiffin; daughter-in-law, LaTisha Vallier of Cookville, Tenn.; and 12 grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his son, Michael Vallier in 2005; and sister, Joelene Lynch.
Visitation will be 4-8 p.m. Monday in Mitchell-Auxter Funeral Home, 218 S. Main St., Clyde. The funeral will be at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday in the funeral home; the Rev. Dave Brown officiating. Burial will be in the veteran’s section of McPherson Cemetery. Military graveside will be provided by Clyde VFW and American Legion.
