Cora M. Valentine, 84, of Milan, passed away early Friday morning, Sept. 12, 2008, in Fisher Titus Medical Center, Norwalk, following a brief illness.
She was born July 9, 1924, in Huron, daughter of the late Margaret M. (Martin) and Charles E. Bostater. Following high school, Cora worked at Bonnet Poultry and was a homemaker. She loved to spend time with her family and friends, playing cards and crocheting.
Cora will be sadly missed by her daughter, Lucille M. Judge of Milan; sons, Kenneth (Betty) Valentine of Norwalk, Dilbert Valentine of Milan and Edward (Patricia) Valentine of Collins; five grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; sister, Emma Bateman of Collins; and brother, John Bostater of Milan.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 58 years, Raymond Valentine, who died Oct. 10, 2003; son, John Ray Valentine; daughter, Shirley Valentine; parents; sisters, Mary Holzhouser, Stella Sternberg and Kate Ray; and brothers, Delbert, Robert and Henry Bostater.
Friends may call from 11 a.m., Monday, until memorial service at 1 p.m. in Groff Funeral Home, Milan Chapel, One S. Main St. Burial will be in Scott Cemetery, Milan.
