Anne E. (Webb) Dahnke, 91, formerly of Sandusky and Bellevue, died early Monday morning, Sept. 8, 2008, in Gaymont Nursing Home, Norwalk, following a lengthy illness.
She was born July 15, 1917, in Nashville, Tenn. Anne was employed at General Electric Company, Bellevue, for 28 years, retiring in 1978.
She was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church, Sandusky, and a former member of the Daughters of Isabella.
She is survived by one son, William (Raymonde) Dahnke of Norwalk; three grandsons, Steve, Mike and Gary Dahnke; two half sisters, Nellie (Bill) Jenkins and Janice (Jimmy) Nelson, both of Nashville, Tenn.; and nieces, nephews and other relatives.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Ralph W. Dahnke in 1981; her parents, Addie (Rosser) Webb and Ernest Webb Sr.; one sister, Margaret Dahnke; two brothers, Ernest Webb Jr. and Lewis Webb; one half brother, Robert Webb.
Friends may call from 10 a.m. Thursday until funeral services at 11 a.m. at Pfeil Funeral Home, Sandusky Chapel, 617 Columbus Ave., Sandusky. The Rev. Philip Feltman will officiate.
Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery, Sandusky.
