Nora Mae Jordan, 72, of Sandusky, previously of Richwood, W.Va., went to be with the Lord early Thursday morning, Sept. 4, 2008.
She was born Nov. 13, 1935, in Fayette County, W.Va. Nora, a retired L.P.N., worked at Erie County Care Facility and Providence Care Center for five and 12 years respectively.
She was a caring person that was born to be a nurse.
She is survived by two daughters, Belinda of Sandusky and Kimberly of Charleston, W.Va.; twin sister, Norma Miller of Dixie, W.Va.; brother, Pete Keith of Elyria; companion of 20 years, Robert Alley of Sandusky; six grandchildren, Joy, Paula, Lindsay, Beth, Tara and Lee; and four great-grandchildren, Kaitlyn, Emily, Elyssa, and Haley.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Harry Jordan; son, David Jordan; parents, Pete and Gladys Keith; brother, Jimmy Keith; and grandson, Eric Jordan.
Visitation will be 6-8 p.m. today at Simons-Coleman Funeral Home, Railroad and Home streets, Richwood, where funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday.
Burial will be in Mountain View Memorial Park, Richwood.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Stein Hospice Service, Inc., 1200 Sycamore Line, Sandusky, OH 44870, as they took such great care of her and her family during her last days.
Local arrangements were entrusted to David F. Koch Funeral Home, 520 Columbus Ave., Sandusky.
