Marjorie E. (Zorn) England Hoerig, 85, of Sandusky, passed away Monday, Aug. 18, 2008, in Stein Hospice Care Center, Sandusky.
She was born Oct. 30, 1922, in rural Sandusky to Albert and Dora (Scheid) Zorn. In 1951, she married Harvey England, who died in 1983, and in 1984 she married Herald "Hal" Hoerig, and they lived in Fostoria and Tiffin, moving to Sandusky in 2004.
She retired as an administrative assistant for Fostoria Industries, Inc., after 33 years. She was a member of St. John Lutheran Church, Union Corners, Ohio.
Marjorie is survived by her husband, Hal; daughter, Becky England of Canal Winchester, Ohio; stepson, Craig (Julie) Hoerig of Vermilion; her beloved grandchildren, Ian, Luke, Chloe and Bryce; sister, Dorothy Judson and brother, Louis Zorn, both of Sandusky; numerous nieces and nephews; and sisters-in-law, Joan Zorn and Norma Zorn, both of Sandusky.
She was preceded in death by her parents; and brothers, Karl, Willard and Harold.
A memorial service will be at 11 a.m. Aug. 30, in St. John Lutheran Church, 106 Scheid Road, Sandusky. The Rev. Bill Hlavin will officiate. Private graveside committal services will be in St. John Cemetery.
