Charles W. Boos, 91, of Huron, died Monday, Aug. 18, 2008, in Parkvue Healthcare Center, Sandusky.
He was born March 13, 1917, in Huron Township, and was a lifelong resident.
He graduated from Sandusky High School in 1935 and was an area farmer for 60 years.
He was a member of United Methodist Church, Huron, and the Erie County Farm Bureau.
He is survived by two daughters, Nancy (Abe) Colon of Huron and Linda (Ronald) Wilson of Hayesville, Ohio; son, Robert (Linda) Boos of Huron; seven grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; a half brother, George (Nancy) Smith of Huron; and his extended family at Parkvue Healthcare Center.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Naomi (Sayler) Boos in 1987; a grandson, Jerry Boos; parents, Ameol and Effie (Harple) Boos; and brothers, Fred, Owen, Art and John Boos.
Friends may call 4 to 8 p.m. today at Foster Funeral Home, 410 Main St., Huron.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at United Methodist Church, 338 Williams St., Huron. The Rev. J. Roger Skelley-Watts will officiate. Burial will be in Scott Cemetery, Huron.
