V. Grant Hostetter, 66, of Clyde, died unexpectedly Saturday, Aug. 16, 2008, at his home.
Grant was born March 8, 1942, son of the late John G. and Beatrice (Damschroeder) Hostetter. He graduated from Clyde High School in 1960 and worked for the West Baking Co. in Norwalk and later for Clyde Green Springs Schools. Grant was a member of First United Methodist Church, Clyde, and the Clyde Masonic Lodge.
He is survived by a son, Victor (Suzanne) Hostetter of Norwalk; a daughter, Heidi (Mark) Gleason of Jensen Beach Fla.; five grandchildren; and a brother, John N. Hostetter of Clyde.
Visitation will be 6-8 p.m. Wednesday at Mitchell-Auxter Funeral Home, 218 S. Main St., Clyde, where funeral services will be at 10:30 a.m. Thursday. Burial will be in Harris-Elmore Cemetery, Elmore, Ohio.
