Stanley C. Wynn, 77, of Sandusky, passed away late Sunday evening, July 27, 2008, in Firelands Regional Medical Center, Main Campus, Sandusky, after a lengthy illness.
He was born in Falmouth, Ky., Dec. 9, 1930. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army, having served during the Korean War and was a recipient of the Korean Service Medal with six bronze service stars. He worked as an interior decorator for many years and was a past member of the VFW in Cincinnati.
He is survived by two daughters; sister, Sheila Wynn of Foster, Ky.; brother, James Wynn of Florence, Ky.; and nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Chester and Gladys (Courtney) Wynn; four sisters; and brother, John Wynn.
At his request, there will be no visitation. A graveside service will be 2 p.m. Friday, in Oakland Cemetery, Sandusky. The Rev. Kenneth L. Hiser will officiate. Arrangements entrusted to David F. Koch Funeral Home, 520 Columbus Ave., Sandusky.
