Peggy Jo Cochran, 74, Sandusky, died Wednesday, July 30, 2008, in Firelands Regional Medical Center.
She was born in Birmingham, Ala., Dec. 26, 1933. She was employed by Cedar Point.
Peggy was a member of American Legion Post 83 Auxiliary, VFW Post 2529 Auxiliary and Order of Eastern Star.
She is survived by her husband, John Cochran Sr., to whom she was married 57 years, May 31, 1951; daughter, Deborah Brennan, Sandusky; son, John (Susan) Cochran Jr., Dover City, Fla.; and four grandchildren and a great-grandchild.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Walter and Josephine (Griffin) Evans; and sister, Geraldine Peel.
Friends may call from noon Friday until funeral services at 2 p.m. in Toft Funeral Home & Crematory, 2001 Columbus Ave., Sandusky. The Rev. Daniel Miller of First Baptist Church will officiate. Burial will be in Meadow Green Memorial Park, Huron.
