Jane Mack Palmer, 82, of Indianapolis, and formerly of Sandusky, passed away peacefully July 20, 2008.
She was born Feb. 6, 1926. She worked for an ophthalmologist, retiring in 1991.
Survivors include her daughters, Anne Barrett and Betsy (Pete) Gross; sons, Mike Palmer of Indianapolis and John Palmer of Kansas; four grandchildren, and three great-grandchildren.
Her husband, Harry Palmer, with whom she worked for many years in his business while raising their children, preceded her in death, along with her brother, John Mack (Sandusky).
A private memorial service took place on Kelleys Island.
Memorial contributions may be made to the American Heart Association, the American Lung Association or the National Kidney Foundation.
