Eunice M. (Kaufman) Baum, 86, of Sandusky, passed away early Friday morning, July 25, 2008, in Stein Hospice Care Center after a brief illness.
She was born July 11, 1922, in Sandusky, the daughter of the late Fred and Mabel (Gorill) Kaufman. She married F. Carl Baum on March 1, 1941. She was a lifelong Sandusky resident and a member of Zion Lutheran Church.
She is survived by her sons, Gerald C. (Diane) Baum, Charles F. Baum and Ronald A. (Kathy) Baum, all of Sandusky, Donald L. (Kathy) Baum, Norwalk, and Thomas G. (Carol) Baum of Sandusky; daughters, Barbara (Walter) Zeck, Casa Grande, Ariz., and Patricia (Ronald) Zielske of Sandusky; 14 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; and sister, Shirley Mapus of Sandusky.
She was preceded in death by her husband in 1996; parents; sister, Audrey Lieb; and three brothers, Chester, Richard and James Kaufman.
Friends will be received from 11 a.m. Monday until services at 1 p.m. in Groff Funeral Home, 1607 E Perkins Ave., Sandusky; the Rev. John Mawhirter will officiate. Entombment will follow in Meadow Green Memorial Park.
