Pauline J. Gangluff, 64, of Collins, died Wednesday morning, July 16, 2008, in Fisher-Titus Medical Center.
She was born Sept. 26, 1943, in Shelby, Ohio, daughter of the late George C. and Leona M. (McGregor) Stiteler. She was a 1961 graduate of Mansfield Madison High School. She moved to this area in 1966 from Mansfield, Ohio.
She was a member of Collins United Methodist Church. She was a poll worker for the Huron County Board of Elections and was a member of Townsend Fire Belles. She was a member of Western Reserve Athletic Boosters Club and enjoyed watching her children and grandchildren’s sports events. She enjoyed reading and genealogy.
She is survived by her husband of 44 years, H. David Gangluff of Collins; daughters and sons-in-law, Kimberly and Clell Jones Jr. of Wakeman, Jodie L. and Roger Fortner of Norwalk and Toni M. Gangluff of Wakeman; granddaughter, Danielle Gangluff, whom she raised; brothers and sisters-in-law, Harold and Karen Stiteler of Belleville, Gene Stiteler of Mansfield, Ohio, Daniel and Shirley Stiteler of Mansfield; sisters and brothers-in-law, Thelma and Jake Rupanovic of Shelby, Ohio, Betty and Sterling Wells of Vermont, Mich., Patricia Sipes of Yuma, Ariz. and Janet and Jack Hatfield of Mansfield; grandchildren, Hunter Jones, Alexandria Jones, Terri Jones, Denise Jones, David Jones, Mathew Fortner, Sean Fortner; and four great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her brothers, George, Leo, Ross and Glenn Stiteler.
Friends may call 2-5 p.m. Sunday in Walker Funeral Home, 98 West Main St., Norwalk. Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Monday in the funeral home; the Rev. Carl Fannin, pastor of Collins United Methodist Church, will officiate. Burial will be in Collins Cemetery.
