David E. Dalenberg, 56, of Marblehead, died Monday, July 14, 2008, at his residence.
He was born Nov. 13, 1951, in Mansfield, Ohio, the son of Erwin C. and Margaret C. (Bauer) Dalenberg. David was owner and operator of Captain Dave’s Charters based in Marblehead. He was a social member and a member of the Men’s Auxiliary of VFW Post 7572 of Marblehead.
Surviving are his wife, Karen (Jess), whom he married March 12, 1976; a sister, Kathy (Mark) Armstrong of Clayton, Ohio; a brother, Robert Dalenberg of Mansfield; and many nieces and nephews.
His parents and a brother, Charles, preceded David in death.
At his request, there will be no visitation. Memorial services will be at 3 p.m. Thursday at VFW Post 7572, 421 W. Main St., Marblehead, with services conducted by the Men’s Auxiliary.
Memorial contributions may be made to the American Diabetes Association.
